Update from PMLD on COVID-19
Please note that PMLD's main office remains closed to the public until May 18th, 2020. Per the Governors directive, as of May 6, 2020, all employees of PMLD will be wearing masks when engaging in any activities outside of the plant or engaging with customers or the public.

Update from PMLD on COVID-19
First and foremost, we want you to know that we are here and continuing to work to keep all critical operations running safely and securely. With the increased spread of COVID-19 to Central Mass. and the directive issued by Governor Baker on March 31st, PMLD is taking further precautions to ensure the health and safety of our staff. To decrease the risk of transmission, the office will remain closed to the public until further notice. The Office Staff is now working remotely and accessible during normal business hours to assist our customers. The linemen are working in shifts and on call for emergency needs and outages.
We ask for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
How you may be impacted:
Payments: We are continuing to process payments as quickly as possible. We have seen a delay in receiving payments from our lockbox, which was recently shutdown for safety measures.
Billing: To the best of our ability, we will keep normal customer billing processes going. Please note that the balance on your bill may not reflect those delayed payments.
Collections: PMLD is suspending late fees and penalties until further notice. Customers are still expected to make payments though in a timely manner. The water department has authorized PMLD to currently suspend penalty charges pending further review.
Shutoffs: In accordance with the Massa. Department of Public Utilities, PMLD will extend the moratorium on electrical shutoffs until further notice.
New Services/Finals: Anyone wishing to obtain news services, transfer services for renters and homeowners, please contact the office for assistance. All paperwork will be handled electronically.
Energy Efficiency Rebates and Audits: rebates are continuing to be processed however expect delays. All energy audits have been suspended until further notice.

PMLD Response to COVID-19:
The safety and health of our employees and the local community is our top priority during these challenging times. To hope to combat the spread of this to our employees and the community, PMLD feels that it is important to follow the recommendations of the Board of Health and the Emergency Management Director in closing our lobby to customers and other visitors. Payments can be made online or left in one of our dropboxes (located at Paxton Market or in the PMLD parking lot). For special circumstances such as a new service, lien release or payment over the phone, please call the office at (508) 756-9508 during normal business hours, 8 AM - 4 PM.
What PMLD is doing:
* Office/Facility cleaned daily
* Vehicles cleaned daily
* Employees have been instructed:
***to stay home if they are sick
***to wash their hands frequently with hot water and antibacterial soap
***to practice social distancing of at least six feet
*Hand sanitizer and gloves have been dispersed throughout the facility
We will continue to to stay informed of updates issued by our local and state health agencies, CDC and WHO. Please know that our commitment to the well-being of our employees and the community is an on-going effort.
