Welcome to your Town’s Light Department website. Paxton Municipal Light Department is a local electric utility which serves only the Town of Paxton. It is one of 41 Municipal Light Departments in Massachusetts.
The Light Department was established in 1914 and as it enters its 112th year of service, the residents and businesses of Paxton continue to be our number one priority. We are dedicated to providing safe, reliable and economical energy for our customers while maintaining a staff of professional, educated employees.
The Light Department General Manager is Tara Rondeau.
The Light Department is owned by the ratepayers it services.
