Termination of Service

Failure to pay your bill on time may result in termination of service.

 

Fees

If the customer fails to contact Paxton Municipal Light Department before a crew is dispatched to the customer’s home, apartment or place of business for termination of service, the following fees will be assessed:

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM - $50 (at the meter) and $100 (at the Pole)

 &

$200 and $380 respectively after the hours stated above.

If service has been terminated, the Department may require payment of arrears and all associated fees in full before power is restored.
